The doctor of the future will be digital, needs to innovate because circumstances so require. Health systems are expensive, inefficient, and are dehumanized to the brink of bankruptcy, the U.S. is the most expensive with a charge calculated at 50 to 60 trillion dollars, http://twurl.nl/0hiaih which is why President Obama stated that the greatest threat to the viability of the nation were not, nor insolvent banks, nor credit markets paralyzed, nor trillonarios bailouts; but the threat and by a wide margin was the exorbitant cost of the health system and so are other countries.
It is estimated that each year 1.5 million families lose their homes by borrowing care. But cost does not mean more efficiency and check the recent UN data showing that there are 34 countries with greater longevity and 24 with less infant mortality.
Therefore, some doctors and companies are developing internet-based consultation through email, chat or video conference and are using social networks (twitter, facebook, you tube and bolgs) to reduce costs and stay in touch with their patients and return to medicine a touch "more human" http://twurl.nl/2b6d8j
Do not stay behind, we already started http://twurl.nl/6mn630
